PROJECTS

The NGO “THEATRALIUM-UA” is developing five key projects aimed at supporting children in Ukraine and developing their talents.

Animation Studio Project

The children’s animation studio “Teatralium-UA” opened its doors to young directors in 2020. Here, kids learn to create animated films — from scriptwriting to promoting their work at festivals. Over four years of the studio’s operation, our students have received numerous diplomas and awards and participated in several Ukrainian festivals. At the “Teatralium-UA” children’s animation studio, kids work under the guidance of a real film director!

Siya Titova is a professional film and animation director. Throughout her career, she has created over 20 short films, most of which have taken part in international festivals, and some have even won awards. Her works have been featured three times in the Ukrainian film catalog at the Cannes Film Festival. For 12 years now, Siya’s students have not only been creating animations but also learning digital illustration, film distribution, and directing. Their works have been shown at festivals in Serbia, Croatia, Bulgaria, and many Ukrainian children’s festivals.

"DiTvoRa" Project

This project focuses on the creative development of children.

During workshops, our instructors introduce kids to various forms of applied arts, helping them gain new skills and discover their talents. The topics are very diverse: from drawing and sculpting to cooking and technical modeling. Children create grain and dough paintings, weave dreamcatchers, make natural soap, embroider traditional shirts, learn to play musical instruments, paint tote bags, craft holiday decorations, and practice acting. They also support our defenders by making trench candles, charms, and tasty treats. Our goal is to help children believe in themselves, develop their imagination, and find their calling.

"Basket of Kindness" Project

This project aims to provide children with food, stationery, and other essential supplies.

Our organization purchases items based on the needs and requests of partner institutions. The baskets may include sweet gift sets for holidays, school supplies, or books needed by educators and children for learning and development. We work closely with partners and donors who help us fill these baskets. Thanks to this project, we can promptly respond to the needs of children and families in difficult life circumstances.

"Joy" Project

The aim of this project is to bring children joy, positive emotions, and bright memories.

“Teatralium-UA” organizes visits to theatrical performances, cinema screenings, and other entertaining events. Our cheerful team of animators is always happy to visit children with fun games and competitions. You’ll meet Dog Patron, Saint Nicholas and his Angel, Mickey and Minnie, and many other beloved characters! There’s also a real Magician — master of illusions — and amazing Aliens with their thrilling chemistry show. Through this project, children can take a break from daily worries, dive into a world of creativity and culture, and meet their favorite characters in person. We want every child to feel special and know that someone truly cares about them.

"Cozy Home" Project

Through this project, we strive to provide our beneficiaries with everything they need for daily life, treatment, and rehabilitation.

This includes industrial equipment for kitchens in children’s institutions, essential furniture and tools for rooms where children with disabilities study, and medical devices for kindergartens that work with children with visual impairments. Recently, we purchased window frames and helped re-glaze windows in a boarding school in the Chernihiv region, where a blast had shattered the glass and the children still live.

Every child deserves a warm and cozy home where they feel safe and protected.
